Muppets Most Wanted

In Most Wanted, we find Kermit and the gang embarking on a world tour with their shady new manager, Dominic Badguy (played by Ricky Gervais). Badguy's not so subtle name is a perfect clue as to what happens next, when the world's most dangerous frog, Constantine, breaks out of prison and switches places with Kermit. Badguy and Constantine embark on a massive jewel heist using the Muppet's world tour as the perfect cover, and Kermit, trapped in a Russian prison, must find a means of escape if he's to save the day.

Now I was entertained by the first two Spy Kids movies, but the third one was rip off of Tron(1982). Jessica Alba is amusing in her role, as a retired spy, wanting to become stepmother to her husbands(Joel McHale The Soup)kids, and having one of her own. But then an old enemy comes back in the picture, and she is called back into action. But will her husbands kids become the new spy kids? The two original spy kids make an appearance, they are Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara, and you know they are not kids anymore. But that was a big problem for me, cause I feel the films focus went more on them, and less on the new spy kids, it was like the new generation was making an appearance in there own movie. Jessica Alba was good, so was Joel Mchale. But they where convincing as a couple, now Antonio Banderas and Carla Gugino was more convincing. But all in all an amusing film, had interesting effects. But go in this movie knowing, what too expect.$

This film was brilliant, the storyline didn\'t seem to have any plot holes in it and the deaths were more gruesome than ever! Certainly A Lot darker and serious than some of the previous ones! And the Special and visual effects were brilliant, I wasn\'t expecting much considering the last film had rather cartoon like effects and a terrible storyline but I was very pleasantly surprised the acting was considerably better as well, and The ending, well it was brilliant I mean everyone\'s been saying how good it was and how they didn\'t see it coming, well it really was but also when you hear about it all over the internet you kinda work it out :L But still! It\'s the best of them all! if there is to be another one then Steven Quale must direct!? I mean finally a change of director and someone with fresh ideas!!! the endings have all been the same for all the other films! It gets boring, but this certainly gives the final destination franchise a better name! this films had me on the literal edge of my seat, Where you think something\'s going to happen... then...... no..... wait...... Yes! it\'s so intensely gripping and a cool must see film!$

Scientists use apes to test experimental drugs, one drug in particular to try and cure Alzheimer\'s. We watch as certain apes develop higher brain functioning, rivaling that of humans, this is how we meet our story\'s hero, Caesar. We go from the sadness of seeing Caesar\'s mother dying trying to protect him from the scientists, to Caesar growing up as actor James Franco\'s surrogate son, but when Caesar tries to protect his family by attacking another human, Caesar is taken away to an ape sanctuary. Throughout all of this, we feel Caesar\'s joy as he first climbs a Redwood tree, and we feel his anger and sadness when he is left in a cage by his surrogate father, lending emotional plausibility to Caesar becoming embittered and rising to lead the apes in a revolt against the humans, rioting across San Francisco. What is more impressive is that not a single real ape was in this movie. All of the apes were portrayed by actors in motion capture suits, with their ape exteriors being added on in post production via CGI. The effects work is expertly woven into the story by WETA digital, and there are moments within the movie that even a seasoned eye can barely tell the difference between CGI trickery and a real ape on Animal Planet. This is just a pure spectacle that only a blockbuster can deliver. Tight storytelling, high emotion, and marvelous action, wrapped up into a wonderfully written, solidly directed, immaculate technical showcase.$
