Initial D: Takumi's battle with Seiji reaches its climax and he's still trailing behind but this doesn't mean a thing as the "Eight-Six" has always pulled off something incredible to win, on Akina. The next day Takumi is feeling quite melancholic after the battle and what makes it worse is that he has received another anonymous letter about Natsuki, in his shoebox. There isn't much time for Takumi to think about this, as he has been challenged by Kyouichi to a preliminary match on Akagi.
