She promises Cahit that their relationship will be like roommates, not like a married couple. The film follows Sibel and Cahit as they get married, become closer and eventually fall in love. Cahit then accidentally kills one of Sibel\'s lovers and is sent to jail. Sibel moves to Turkey where she gets a job as a domestic aid with the help of her cousin. After serving his sentence, Cahit is released from jail and he immediately sets off for Istanbul to find her.$
